1. Who we are
JAF ("we", "us") manufactures and supplies hydraulic, pneumatic and custom machined seals. This website is operated by JAF. For any privacy question you can contact us at Alina@sealpro-industry.com.
2. What we collect
- Enquiry data — the name, company, email address, phone / WhatsApp number, country, product or seal profile you selected, quantity, dimensions, working conditions and any drawing or file you upload.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type and pages visited, in the server logs used for security and troubleshooting.
- Language preference — a cookie (
lang) remembers the language you chose. It contains no personal data.
3. Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry, prepare quotations and confirm drawings or samples.
- To fulfil orders and provide after-sales support.
- To keep the website secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
4. Legal basis
We process enquiry data because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and because we have a legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Server logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
5. Sharing
Your data may be processed by our email and hosting providers, who act on our instructions. Drawings and specifications are shared only with the engineers who prepare your quotation. We do not disclose your information to third parties for marketing.
6. Retention
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any resulting order, and are deleted or anonymised afterwards unless a longer period is required by law.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete the personal data you sent us, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to Alina@sealpro-industry.com and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
This site sets one functional cookie to remember your language and one session cookie when you log in to the administration area. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
9. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on servers with restricted access. Access to the administration area is password protected.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
